Sports Watch Monitor Line Moves and Today’s Top Trends

Back to baseball for sports bettors and we have three contests to cover and yes we are passing on Seattle as a rising favorite with King Felix pitching. Like we say every day, understanding line moves can build your bankroll. (80-59 L35D)

MLB – (953) ST. LOUIS at (954) MIAMI  7:10 E  FSMW, FSFL

Shelby Miller (8-8, 3.99 ERA) was pulled from the rotation for two weeks last month and it seems to have done him some good. Miller has allowed just 10 hits in 18+ innings and posted a 2.41 ERA. The huge difference for him is one walk in that span, which has kept him out of trouble. After losing a series in Baltimore, St. Louis needs Miller to stop the Miami bats and get to Tom Koehler (7-9, 3.80), who has a 2.92 ERA over his last four starts. Baseball bettors are leaning with the Cardinals, lowering them from +108 to a Pick (-105). Besides the pitchers, this conflict could come down to the sluggers, with Giancarlo Stanton 9 for 20 with two homers in his last five at Marlins Park versus St. Louis or the Cardinals Matt Adams, who is 9 for 13 in his last five meetings versus Miami.SWM Take – Slight lean St. Louis

MLB – (963) TAMPA BAY at (964) TEXAS  8:05 E  SS, FSSW

Colby Lewis (8-8, 5.50) has often been more hittable than a punching bag for opposing hitters this season. However, he seems to have found a rhythm after missing all of 2013, with a 2.30 ERA in his past four starts, which included his second-career shutout in his last outing. With Tampa Bay’s Drew Smyly (6-10, 3.98) struggling with command, coming off his fifth start in which he tossed over 100 pitches yet failing to finish six innings, the Rays have slipped from -135 to under -120. Even on a much better Tigers squad, Smyly is 2-9 against a team with a losing record this season. (Team’s Record) On the other hand, a rested Lewis (five or six days between starts) is 7-0 in 2014. (Rangers record) SWM Take – Lean Texas

MLB – (967) OAKLAND at (968) KANSAS CITY  8:10 E  CSN-CA, FSKC  (side and total)

Here is a tough one, play the best team in baseball basically all season or the one who is the hottest at the moment? Those betting baseball have made their choice, backing Kansas City who is on a 15-3 run and sunk the Royals from +130 to under +105. Seems a little risky with Yordano Ventura (9-8, 3.47) having yo-yo tendencies compared to the steadier Sonny Gray (12-5, 2.87). Since 13 of the past 17 meetings between these clubs have gone UNDER, the total has dipped from 7.5 to 7 with these pitchers. Having lost yesterday, Gray and the A’s are 15-3 in tandem coming off a loss.SWM Take – Oakland wins and Under
