Like we say every day, understanding line moves can build your bankroll. (209-161 L67D)
CFB – Thursday (305) FLORIDA STATE at (306) LOUISVILLE 7:30 ET ESPN
Football bettors like many who follow college football have wary eye in wondering about Florida State. This team is 1-6 ATS this season and Louisville is the total defense leader in the country and both their losses were close on the ACC road. The Seminoles have been lowered from -7 to -5 (nowhere land), but this could go back up by game time. Betting Trend – 60 percent backing Florida State
CFB – (313) BOSTON COLLEGE at (314) VIRGINIA TECH 12:30 ET W-ESPN
At this juncture nobody trusts Virginia Tech whose offense is floundering and making mistakes and the defense is being shoved around with ACC opponents averaging an unheard of 237.2 YPG rushing on the Hokies. In comes Boston College who is solid defensively and No. 2 in the conference in rushing. No wonder Virginia Tech slipped from -5 to -3. B.C. is 7-2 ATS at Blackburg. Betting Trend – 69 percent backing Boston College
CFB – (323) DUKE at (324) PITTSBURGH 12:00 ET ESPNU
Pittsburgh committed an unreal six turnovers in loss to Georgia Tech. Those betting football are sure the Panthers will clean this up and their powerful ground game will have success against Duke who allows 193 YPG on the ground. I can understand why Pitt could go from a Pick to -3, but under coach David Cutcliffe, Duke players know they can win. Betting Trend – 67 percent backing Duke
CFB – (355) BYU at (356) MID. TENN. STATE 3:30 ET CBSSN
With BYU in free fall with four consecutive losses and having not covered the spread since Sept. 6 (0-6 ATS), the Cougars have fallen from -7 to -4 to Mid. Tenn. State. While much is blamed on the loss of QB Taysom Hill, the defense is surrendering 36.8 PPG during spread losing streak. The Cougars are 1-8 ATS vs. teams averaging eight or more YPPA. Betting Trend – 77 percent backing M.T.S.
CFB – (361) USC at (362) WASHINGTON STATE 4:30 ET PAC-12N
USC lost another Pac-12 tilt in the finals seconds and now motivation comes into question with almost no chance to win the South Division. Though Washington State’s a crummy team, they are still capable of scoring and the Trojans have been lowered two points to -6.5. USC however is 13-3 ATS in road games after a loss by six or fewer points. Betting Trend – 82 percent backing USC
CFB – (363) STANFORD at (364) OREGON 7:30 ET FOX
Stanford might be falling below market expectations, but they have beaten Oregon the past two seasons and rank No. 2 in the country in total defense, leading to the Cardinal being lowered from -11.5 to -9. Unless QB Kevin Hogan plays fantastic, hard to ignore the Ducks are 7-0 ATS after ringing up 50 or more points. Betting Trend – 78 percent backing Oregon

CFB – (377) OLD DOMINION at (378) VANDERBILT 7:00 ET ESPNU
Given the line has moved 2.5 points on this contest, sharp money has to be involved. Vanderbilt is the worst team in the SEC and only averages 17.1 PPG, while Old Dominion tallies 33.1 PPG, albeit, versus lesser competition. This has led to Vandy tumbling to -7.5, with football bettors lacking faith in the Commodores offense, but ODU is 0-6 ATS after allowing 37 or more points. Betting Trend – 69 percent backing Old Dominion
