Current betting odds for this game have the have the Hawks listed as 3 point favorites, while the total has been set at 205.5.

Head-To-Head This Year: Atlanta won the first meeting 120-105 as a 2.5 point home favorite… Atlanta won the 2nd meeting 113-90 as a 3.5 point road favorite… Atlanta won the 3rd meeting 103-88 as a 7.5 point home favorite.

The Atlanta Hawks continue their surge down the stretch of the regular season as they come in off a 112-95 rout of Detroit on the road and have now won 3 in a row and 13 of their last 16. The Hawks do lead the Southeast Division, but by just one game over Miami and a a game and a half over the Hornets. After this game the Hawks go to Toronto and then they have four home games in a row, before ending the season on the road vs Cleveland and Washington. This will be a tight race down the stretch. The Hawks are led by Paul Millsap, who averages 17.2 ppg, while also leading the team in rebounding at 8.7 rpg, but he is listed as questionable for this game with a head injury.. Al Alford has had another solid year as he is 2nd on the team in both scoring (15.4 ppg) and rebounding (7.1 rpg), while Jeff Teague (15.0 ppg), Kent Bazemore (11.5 ppg) and Dennis Schroeder (11.3 ppg) round out the double digit scorers on the team. The Hawks are a very average offensive team as they come in ranked 13th in the league in scoring, putting up 102.9 ppg, while also ranking 10th in shooting overall, 15th in 3-point shooting and 9th from the charity stripe. The defense has been very good this year as they come in ranked 6th in points allowed, giving up just 98.9 ppg, while also ranking 1st in defensive FG% overall and 5th in 3-point defense. On the road the Hawks are 20-17 SU & 20-16-1 ATS, averaging 102.6 ppg on 45.0% shooting, while allowing 100.2 ppg on 43.2% shooting.

Trends: The Hawks are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game and 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games following a ATS win. The Over is 4-1 in their last 5 Monday games, while the Under is 9-1 in the last 10 meetings in Chicago.

This really looks like a lost year for the Chicago Bulls as they just can’t sustain the momentum needed to keep in a playoff spot. The Bulls had been playing pretty well, but now they come in having lost their last three in a row, which includes losing both end of a home-and-home with the lowly Knicks. Chicago is in the 9th slot in the Eastern Playoff standing and are two games behind both Indiana and Detroit for the 8th and 7th slots. Their remaining schedule isn’t easy as 6 of their last 10 games are on the road and three of their four home games left are vs Atlanta, Detroit and Cleveland. The Bulls led by Jimmy Butler, who averages 21.3 ppg, while Derrick Rose has been healthier this year and is 2nd on the team in scoring at 16.9 ppg. Pau Gasol is nursing an ankle injury, but is expected to play in this one and is 3rd on the team in scoring at 16.6 ppg, while leading them in rebounding at 11.0 rpp. Rounding out the double digit scorers on the team is Nikola Mirotic (10.8 ppg). Overall the the Bulls come in ranked 20th in the league in scoring, putting up 101.5 ppg, while also ranking 26th in shooting overall, but they are a solid 4th from long range and 10th from the charity stripe. The defensive numbers are average at best as they come in ranked 16th in points allowed, giving up 103.2 ppg, while also ranking 7th defensive FG% overall and 6th in 3-point defense. They have allowed 110.7 ppg during their three game slide. At home the Bulls are 24-13 SU, but just 16-21 ATS and have averaged 101.8 ppg on 44.1% shooting, while allowing 100.1 ppg on 45.2% shooting.

Trends: The Bulls are 5-21 ATS the last 7 home games in the series, but just 5-24 ATS in their last 29 vs. the Southeast, and 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games following a ATS loss. The over is  4-1 in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a winning road record, while the Under is 6-1 in their last 7 games playing on 1 days rest.
