Calculating the NBA Injuries 4-19-12 by Rocky Atkinson from Rocketman Sports

Written by rocketman | April 19, 2012

Every day I look at the NBA injury report. I start off with the first team and see who is listed on the report. These are the average number of points these teams will be without tonight.

HERE IS MY TABLE FOR CALCULATING INJURIES:

OUT: Take players average points per game and multiply by 1 DOUBTFUL: Take players average points per game and multiply by .75 QUESTIONABLE: Take players average points per game and multiply by .50 PROBABLE: Take players average points per game and multiply by .25

Here are the results for tonight’s NBA matchups.

Milwaukee -1.7
Indiana -10.25
Minnesota -60
Detroit -3.18
Houston -0
New Orleans -46.93
Chicago -20.73
Miami -11.8
LA Clippers -15.95
Phoenix -2.6
Hope this helps out some. This system hits big percentages when we have a differential of 20 or more and the trends add up to leaning to that same team. It takes a little time to do this every day but it pays off in the end! Three plays for Wednesday fit the 20 point differential and the trend analysis I use.
PLAY ON:  DETROIT
Thanks and good luck today!
