For Thursday, we have a solid mixture of sporting events to peruse through. Look over these line moves and see if they fit what you are thinking today. Studying line moves can become a very profitable venture if you know what to look for.

NFL – (303) CINCINNATI at (304) MIAMI  8:25 ET  NFLN

Since losing to Chicago in Week 1, Cincinnati has reeled off a 6-1 record (5-2 ATS) and is commanding performance again the Jets. With Miami 0-4 SU and ATS since starting 3-0, those looking over the betting odds have pushed the Bengals from -1 to -2.5. Off their offense explosion, Cincy is 15-4 ATS after scoring 24 points or more in the first half of their last contest. UpdateThe Bengals have continued to catch the love, now a field goal choice with 80+ percent backing. SWM Take – Cincinnati covers

CFB – (305) SOUTH FLORIDA at (306) HOUSTON 7:00 ET  ESPN

Looking back at preseason magazines, the highest we could find Houston was fourth in the AAC and while they ultimately might finish there, they are tied for first that this juncture. The Cougars blazing speed and quality adjustments by their coaches are the reason they have been lifted from -15.5 to -17. Houston is 8-0 ATS after not committing a turnover. Update Evidently, the betting public cannot get enough of Houston as they are anywhere from -18.5 to -19.5, with over 90 percent support. SWM Take – Houston covers

CFB – (311) ARIZONA STATE at (312) WASHINGTON STATE  7:00 ET  ESPN  *New

Arizona State sits atop of the standings in the Pac-12 South and looks to add the next building block towards a title. The Sun Devils will be on the road three of the four contests and their long history of failure in away games (19-34 SU since 2003) leaves them with an air of uncertainty. Arizona State was originally as 13-point road favorite and they have slid to -11.5. Washington State has backdoor potential because they throw the ball 59 times a game; however, under coach Todd Graham the Devils are 11-3 ATS as favorites and over a longer term, they are 16-1 ATS versus terrible rushing teams averaging 90 or less yards a game. SWM Take – Lean with Arizona State

NBA – (503) GOLDEN STATE at (504) L.A. CLIPPERS  10:35 ET TNT

These Pacific Division rivals went Over the total in all four of their meetings last year and those looking over the betting odds could not avoid taking the total from 203 to 204.5. It is noted this is the highest figure in their prior eight contests and the Clippers are 13-3 OVER playing division foes since last season. Also, the Warriors off their convincing trouncing of the Lakers last night, are 15-5 OVER in back to back games. SWM Take – Play Over
