NFL – Thursday (107) WASHINGTON at (108) MINNESOTA 8:25 ET NFLN
Coming in at No.’s 30 and 31 in points allowed in the NFL are Minnesota (31.5 PPG) and Washington (31.6 PPG) respectively. Combine this with more than adequate offensive production from both teams and the total is piling up like snow on a Minneapolis drive way from 47.5 to 49.5. The Vikings is 6-0 OVER at home when the total is 45.5 or higher the last three seasons.
NFL – (205) PHILADELPHIA at (206) GREEN BAY 1:00 ET FOX
We now the value of Aaron Rodgers to the Green Bay Packers, at least according to the sportsbooks. Before Monday’s contest, Green Bay was a 10-point favorite, with Rodgers out of the lineup; the Pack has been sent packing to -3. Since that time, football bettors watched Seneca Wallace run Mike McCarthy’s offense and know he’s 6-15 as a starter in the NFL and further lowered Green Bay to -1.5.
NFL – (211) ST. LOUIS at (212) INDIANAPOLIS 1:00 ET FOX
Though St. Louis is 3-6, coach Jeff Fisher has the Rams battling, trying to make up for their quarterback deficiencies. St. Louis has found a running game with RB Zack Stacy and been developing a toughness which has impressed those making NFL picks enough to lower the Rams from +12 to +9. The Colts however are 6-0 ATS after posting a 3-1 ATS record in a four-game set.
NFL – (213) SEATTLE at (214) ATLANTA 1:00 ET FOX
The Seahawks might be 8-1, yet they do not impress with their 1-4 ATS mark since October. Despite the spread slump, bettors making NFL picks are expecting Seattle to regain their momentum and took them from -4 to -6 at Atlanta. Possibly they view a refocused effort and the Seahawks are 8-0 ATS after scoring seven points or less in the first half of two straight games.
NFL – (215) CINCINNATI at (216) BALTIMORE 1:00 ET CBS
Each of these AFC North combatants put in inferior performances last week. First place Cincinnati opened as a 2.5-point road favorite and has been lowered to 1.5. Baltimore has not looked good in losing three straight, nonetheless, they have taken four of five against their division rivals at home and are 10-6 ATS since 1992. Cincy though is a sharp 9-0 ATS away after gaining 450 or more yards.
NFL – (225) DALLAS at (226) NEW ORLEANS 8:30 ET NBC
For this Sunday night encounter, points are presumed to be like beads on Bourbon Street. The sportsbooks total of 51 has grown to 53.5 with two high-powered offenses colliding. Each defense has also shown vulnerability, which opens the possibility for points and we find New Orleans is 22-8 OVER at home after losing by six or less points.
NFL – Monday (227) MIAMI at (228) TAMPA BAY 8:40 ET ESPN
To say the state of NFL football in the Panhandle State is at its lowest ebb, that would be an understatement. The combined record of its three participants is 4-20 SU and for better or worse (thinking the latter), two of this trio will compete on Monday night. Even with Tampa Bay still to taste victory in 2013, the money is following the Buccaneers, down two digits to +2.5. The Bucs are an unhealthy ATS after four or more consecutive losses the last three seasons.
