Sports Watch Monitor Line Moves and Today’s Top Trends

We have a ton of action in afternoon baseball on Wednesday and that is where the majority of the wagering line moves are taking place. We did find a couple for this evening along with a WNBA total that is headed north. Like we say every day, understanding line moves can build your bankroll. (Strong 4-0 record yesterday)
MLB – (973) TORONTO at (974) N.Y. YANKEES 7:05 E RSN, YES
Like most teams, Toronto has no answers for Masahiro Tanaka in last night’s 3-1 setback. The Blue Jays will attempt to rebound with Mark Buehrle (10-3, 2.28 ERA) taking the ball. With the way the left-hander has pitched all season, baseball bettors have made a case about the total and lowered it from 9 to 8.5. Where this becomes problematic is Buehrle is a harrowing 1-10 in 16 starts against New York with a 6.02 ERA, which is the worst of against any team in his long career. The Jays ace is 19-6 UNDER against a team with a winning record since last season and the Yankees rookie Chase Whitley (2-0, 2.41) has shown well and will be facing a struggling Toronto offense.SWM Take – Lean Under
MLB – (977) HOUSTON at (978) WASHINGTON 7:05 E FSWI, CSN-H, MASN
Gio Gonzalez (3-4, 4.62) returns to the mound for the first time since going on the DL with shoulder inflammation on May 18 in interleague action. Gonzalez had a 7.98 ERA in losing his last three starts before being placed on the DL and those betting baseball are not sure if he will be sharp from the start and pushed the total from 7.5 to 8. This is not a lock for a higher scoring game, with Houston’s Scott Feldman (3-4, 3.98) sporting a 2.55 road ERA. With the Nationals a -160 favorite, the Gonzalez is 28-10 OVER as a home favorite of -125 to -175 in his career.SWM Take – Play Over
WNBA – (605) MINNESOTA at (606) PHOENIX 10:05 E
These conference rivals are the top two scoring teams in the WNBA. Basketball bettors saw the total of 161.5 and pounded it, all the way to 165. This makes a lot of sense until to scratch the surface and starting looking around. The last seven times these squads have met, including the postseason, they are 7-0 UNDER. Only once has Phoenix been able to reach 80 points and that was last Sunday in their 80-72 upset at Minnesota. Here is a number you have to play attention to, the Mercury are 15-1 UNDER versus teams outscoring their opponents by three or more points a contest since last season. SWM Take –Play Under
